Yeah, I don't think so.

I'm not just pissed because it's a Tom Waits covers record and I love Tom Waits. Or that it's effing ScarJo who is extremely overrated and can't act. (Unless being pretty qualifies as acting, which it doesn't). What I'm most upset about is ScarJo made a record produced by Dave "the white dude in TV on the Radio" Sitek and Sean from Baltimore's fantastic Celebration- one of my favorite bands of all time- is playing music all over that mess. Yes, I'm a very jealous woman and I don't think Lost in translation was that good of a movie. Watch yr back, ScarJo or I'll send you back to The Island.

young liars

I am a huge TV on the radio fan. I also happen to be madly in love with singer Tunde Adebimpe (pisces, bitch).
Tunde starred in one of my favorite movies, Jump Tomorrow, which no one has seen. In fact, the only reason I've heard of it is because my obsessive crush led me to do a search of his name on IMDB (sad but true). I normally stay as far away as possible from romantic comedies, but the quirkiness of the film won me over. It's in no way saccharine or hackneyed, but it does leave you with a warm, 'feel-good' feeling (did I just write that?) at the end. It's no Superbabies: Baby Geniuses, but what is? It would also make an excellent birthday present for anyone born on May 1st. On a Saturday. In the year of 1982. In the town of Little Rock, Arkansas.
